High above the McDonald Creek valley is an area called Granite Park.  The Granite Park Chalet can be seen in the lower right of this stunning panorama.  The large tree covered area in the center of the photograph is Bear Valley, so named because it is prime grizzly bear habitat.  Indeed, it is a rare day during the summer season that visitors at the Chalet do not spot a grizzly or two roaming through the valley..
